What is Individual Therapy?

Individual therapy provides a confidential, supportive space to explore personal challenges, develop coping strategies, and improve mental well-being. Sessions are tailored to each person’s unique needs, whether addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or self-esteem issues, to name a few.

Therapy is a collaborative process, where the psychologist helps clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while providing practical tools to create meaningful change.

Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, and IFS, therapy can help clients break unhelpful patterns, manage distress, and build resilience.

Whether working on immediate concerns or deeper, long-standing issues, individual therapy supports personal growth, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of well-being.
